Guideline LXi - Double Hand

Setting out to replace our all time favorite Le Cie rods with a new high-end range wasn’t an easy task, especially as the main objective was to offer the same performance at a better price. The birth of the Lxi range, however, has surpassed all expectation. Based on the same tapers and exactly the same superb graphite mixes as the LeCie (no compromises there), but with small tweaks in actions, lengths and with a totally new look, these rods are- without doubt, the new generation.
Opening range of Lxi comprises an impressive collection of switch and double hand rods. A total of 14 rods make up the full range. The Switch rods are designed to be used as a super fun and small double hander, but they can of course also be used with one hand. The three 11’6 rods are available in line weights 6/7, 7/8 and 8/9 and work equally well with Scandi- as with Switch and light Skagit Heads. The double hand rods are available in 4 different lengths and in varying line sizes. 12’9, 13’9, 14’9 and 15’9 are minor variations in length from the earlier LeCie rods. We have developed these rods with a fraction deeper, yet fast action that makes them easy to load and to unleash a turbo charged kick from the lower half of the blank. Truly great fishing rods for all kinds of lines and with the ability to cast far and accurate when needed.
High modulus graphite cloths, based on the Le Cie model have been used to deliver high performance and the LXi rods have re-designed handles with new shapes, lengths and added inserts, so that superb technical performance is matched by stunning cosmetics. Reel seats are in hard anodized, black, glossy aluminum and see a new flat-sided design that keeps sliding hoods in correct position when a reel is attached. The super hard and great looking Carbide stripper guides have silver soldered welds for extra reinforcement and corrosion resistance. Snake guides are hard chrome and light gauge to enhance and compliment the action of the blank. The green/gray metallic colored blanks have subtle, grey wrappings with dark red trims that give the rods a stunning and classy appearance.
