The Traditionalist’s choice! Our Hebert-Miner line of fly tying feathers is best known for gorgeous natural colors such as creams, duns & browns with brassy overtones and natural sheen. This is the perfect selection for Catskill and traditional pattern fly tiers. Only Whiting Farms has the custodial rights to the legendary Hebert stock. We’ve combined this with the historic Catskill stocks of Darbee and Miner to make the finest natural-toned dry fly feather available. This combination cannot be found with any other breeder.

Whiting Hebert Miner products goes through a tough grading process, done by best experts at Whiting. When grading Whiting pelts, one rule-of-thumb always stands true: the quality of the feather is always consistent. What does this mean? It means that each dry fly feather has a supple quill, void of twist, contains dense barbing and is greater than 85% web-free. If a pelt doesn’t meet this core criteria, the pelt is never sold in retail.

Hebert-Miner Bronze Grade
Bronze- Grade capes offers outstanding quality for money especially for our scandinavian needs where smaller than #18 flies are rarely used. Big amount of quality feathers for flies ranging #10-#18.
